Whether you’re visiting Land O’ Lakes or are lucky enough to be from here, we’ve got summer arts classes for you!
Our Summer Arts Venture classes take place over a 7 week period, with three fantastic interns leading the way. These classes are designed for kids, but adults can enjoy them too!
We got a little of everything..dance, music, and art classes for ages 7-adult (great for families too!), 2 one-month long session theater camp with each a performance at the end, and even a special arts class for our littlest of art explorers ages 3-7.
Visiting the Northwoods? These classes are perfect for a one time visit. They are family friendly, so parents/grandparents/guardians can also tag along and get in on the arts action.
Below is our schedule, broken up into two different sessions (our dance intern is only available during the first session) If your student is here for multiple classes throughout a day, a supervised lunchtime will be available (we will not be providing the food, just providing the supervision)

Visual Arts Classes
Art Expressions - An assortment of mediums and projects will be offered, from learning art principles and foundations, to some craft projects. Each class will be different and students will go home with a finished project each day.
Open Art Studio - Come create your own art with LOLA supplies. Acrylic, watercolor, pastels and more will be offered, with some ideas and guidance from the art intern, to work on your own style and projects.

Dance Classes
Hip Hop - This class will be fun and funky! Learning to build confidence while dancing with social dance, with each day learning a different dance combo. Ages 7-adult
Tap Dance - Beginners and intermediate dancers will explore the different sounds and movements that can be made while in tap shoes. This class will be learning new moves and small tap combos. Ages 7-adult. We do have childrens tap shoes.

Theater Camp
Theater Camp - Session One - These are continuous classes, students should be attending all (or most!) of the classes during the session. Each class meeting will have a warm-up, team-building exercises/improv games, and a wrap-up in addition to rehearsal. * no class 4th of July
Play : Fairy Tale Game Show, Performance : Thurs July 20th @2pm
Theater Camp - Session Two - These are continuous classes, students should be attending all (or most!) of the classes during the session. Each class meeting will have a warm-up, team-building exercises/improv games, and a wrap-up in addition to rehearsal.
Play : The Spy Next Door, Performance : Thurs August 10th @2pm
Each session of Theater Camp will be $40 per student for entire session. Click on the theater icon or here to register.
Music Classes
Music Exploration - Led by our Executive Director Jennifer Anderson, these classes will explore a variety of music elements, including ukulele, percussion, and general music knowledge.

Lil’ Art Explorers Classes
Lil’ Art Explorers - For kids aged 3-7, this 90 minute class has a little of everything..Art projects, making music, movement, and expression. A small snack will be provided.
Lil‘ Ballet Dancers - For kids aged 3-7, this is a beginning ballet course where little dancers will start to learn to move around gracefully and basic ballet positions. We do have children’s ballet shoes to borrow for the day.
Each Lil’ Art Explorer class is $10 per student per day, and each Lil’ Ballet Dancers class is $5 per student per day.
