  Summer Arts Venture 2023 – Art Classes

June 26th-August 10th

LOLA Arts will have two different art offerings for our Summer Arts Venture programming Art Expressions and Open Art Studio. Each class is $10 per person per class.

Open Art Studio will run the entirety of the summer on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-3pm. LOLA will provide a variety of supplies, including acrylic paint, watercolor paint, pastels, paper, canvases, digital/iPad programs, etc., with the intention of letting students work on their own projects and ideas with guidance and help from the Art Intern. Not sure what to make? Don’t worry, Evelyn will have some examples of projects for inspiration and help get them started, as they set off to explore their own style.

Art Expressions will also run the entirety of the seven weeks, but will function more like a regular class, where Evelyn will lead an arts or craft project. Happening on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-10:30am with all supplies provided and walking out with a cool finished project.

2. Letter Art/Stamps – 7/20

 

Week Five:

1. Acrylic Painting 101 – 7/25
2. Watercolor Landscapes – 7/27

 

Week Six:

1. Drawing from Life – 8/1
2. Colored Pencils (Blending + Color Theory) – 8/3

 

Week Seven:

1. Ins + Outs of Faces – 8/8
2. Shadow Boxes collage- 8/10
