In 2022, we had 169 pieces of work that were shown for the exhibition. In 2023, we are hoping for even more. The artwork on display is from students in kindergarten all the way to senior level art. It’s a wonderful collection of creativity and color. LOLA purchases frames for the artwork and they are gifted back to the students. Students have pride seeing their work framed and hung in a gallery, as their work is showcased for the community to see. Visual art education is an important tool to children’s personal development, and Youth Art Month is a way to celebrate their accomplishments.
