2024 Line Dance Classes

Every Tuesday and Thursday
May 21st to Sept. 12th 2024

Pay at the door!
Absolutely no previous dance experience is required. Basic line dance steps are taught and are choreographed to different music and moderately paced. Or dance in the Impover class after learning the basics.

September Classes

Birch in the Fall

Tuesday, Sept. 10th

Join artist Sue Schurch for a day of acrylic painting. You will be painting on an 11x14 canvas. Sue will guide you through every step of painting the background and the birch trees. Create in a fun atmosphere!

Plein Air Perspective and Watercolor Adventure

Tuesday, Sept. 17th

Join watercolor artist Dale L. Popovich and discover the art of straightforward perspective in plein air painting. This engaging and informative one-day workshop will teach you the essentials of two-point perspective, a crucial element for artists seeking to create depth, realism, and lifelike compositions.

Acrylic Pumpkin Painting

Thursday, Sept. 19th

Sue will already have a burned outline of the pumpkins on wood. She will guide you through every step of painting the background and the pumpkins. Create in a fun atmosphere!

Diamond and Diagonals Twill Bowl Basket Class

Thursday & Friday, Sept. 26th and 27th

SOLD OUT This two-day “immersion in basketry” class taught by Dianne Mockler, features a bowl with cathead corners and a center diamond design in two colors. An additional twill design is used for the sides of the bowl. Twill experience is a plus but not required.

October Classes

Fall Focaccia Bread Art

Tuesday, October 1st

In this class, we permit you to play with your food! Join us for a lovely and delicious class decorating your own ~11x15” fall focaccia bread art with cut veggies, herbs, and seeds.

Acrylic Owl

Thursday, October 3rd

Discover the joy of painting in our upcoming acrylic painting class, where you'll create a beautiful owl painting on a 12" x 16" canvas board, under the expert guidance of teaching artist Maureen Luzenski.

Northern Lights Watercolor

Thursday, October 10th

Join artist Donna Lenard for a serene watercolor workshop. Learn to create a window of light and a hint of nature using wet-on-wet and pouring techniques for luminous washes, adding depth with layers.

Turkey Tail Whisk Broom

Thursday, October 17th

Join Sandy VanPatten to craft your own Turkey Tail Whisk—a functional piece of art that’s as beautiful as it is practical. Using authentic broom corn and your choice of colorful nylon twine, you’ll create a broom that’s perfect for cleaning or displaying as a unique decor piece.

Stained Glass Pumpkin

Thursday, October 24th

SOLD OUT - Please email or call if you would like to be on a waitlist. Learn the copper foil method of stained glass while creating a pumpkin just in time for Halloween and Thanksgiving! In this small class, teaching artist Patty will provide individualized instruction on cutting glass, grinding, and piecing together with solder.

Beginning Pastels Fall Scene

Thursday, October 31th

Pastel is a wonderful medium to use in creating beautiful pieces of art. It is very forgiving as you are able to go over an area several times to get the results you wish. In this class you will receive step by step instruction as Lisa will demonstrate before you paint each area.
