Shake off the cabin fever with a little creativity!

Hosted by local poet Adrienne S. Wallner, this FREE event will take place in the LOLA coffeehouse AKA the Gallery Room Tuesday, February 28th 6-8pm.

Come enjoy an evening of community! 

Share your work or work that you admire in a supportive space or sit back and listen.

Readings should not exceed 5 minutes. This is a family-friendly event, so please consider the work you choose to share accordingly.

Coffee, tea, and snacks will be available to enjoy.

Host Bio

Adrienne S. Wallner is a poet and teaching artist. Her poetry has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and can be found in the Aurorean, Stoneboat Literary Journal, Straight Forward Poetry, Uncommon Core: Contemporary Poems for Learning and Living, Minerva Rising, New Verse News and elsewhere. Her debut poetry book To the 4 a.m. Light was published by Finishing Line Press. 

 

In 2022, Adrienne opened for internationally renowned poet Rupi Kaur and presented several poetry art exhibitions in Wisconsin. Adrienne holds a BA in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from St. Norbert College and an MFA in Creative Writing with an emphasis in Poetry from the University of Southern Maine Stonecoast Program. She is very excited to host this event and is looking forward to hearing everyone’s work!
