Join fiber artist Toni Bergeon in a Zoom class as she shares a presentation about her recent  Washington State artist-in-residence experience: Nature’s Elements of Design. She studied the three visual art styles: representational, abstract, and non-objective. She first captured the eight elements in photographs, and then made a series of quilts depicting the elements in each style. In her presentation, she will describe her project, share photos from her travel and the quilts that she made as a result of her studies.

Artist Bio:  Toni Bergeon is an award-winning fiber artist with a love of the outdoors. Her work showcases the beauty of the natural world, is rich in color and detail, is represented in two art galleries, and juried into fine art shows nationwide. Toni teaches workshops on a variety of quilting techniques and styles. Using her camera and fabric, Toni’s recent Artist-in-Residence adventure gave her the opportunity to study visual art by focusing on the eight elements of design as found in nature.

This class is open to adults/teens. Registration is required. A Zoom access link will be emailed to all registrants prior to class.
