Make Music Day is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 800 cities in 120 countries.
Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, parks, plazas, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public. Learn more at makemusicday.org .

Putting their own twist on covers, no song is off limits to be played acoustically or with high energy backing tracks. Nick’s full rich guitar tone built from years of playing, mixed with what the City Pages described as “Carmyn’s charismatic presence and confident voice” make it easy for Rebel Yell to rock and Higher Ground to groove. Their originals are a great mix of stunning riffs, and clever lyrics. Lyrics are always written from the music. So the music dictates the emotion of the song. Open Tab performs across the state.
7:00 p.m. Rachael Brain – Dari-Maid – Professional singer & comedian, who performed in Las Vegas, Rachael brings an up-beat energy and retro sound to contemporary songs.
