No painting experience necessary! Join artist Sue Schurch as she takes you step by step using acrylic to paint a contemporary wolf portrait on a solid wooden plaque. The 9×9 inch plaque will already be prepared with a wood-burned outline, and comes complete with a hanger to display. All materials will be supplied, beverages and snacks available, so come ready to paint!

About the Artist – Sue Schurch owns Blossoms Studio in Land O’ Lakes, which she opened in 2001. Working in acrylic paint, she paints and wood burns on found objects and new wood. Sue loves to find old barn wood and antique furniture as surfaces for her work. She is on the Northwoods Art Tour, sells her work at Moondeer & Friends in Boulder Junction and Cluck the Chicken Store in Paoli, WI. Sue graduated from UW-Madison with a major in art.

Students Suggestions –

Wear smock, apron or other appropriate clothing

Pack a bag lunch

No refunds will be given for any classes after the registration deadline date.  If area school districts close due to weather on the day of a LOLA class, LOLA classes will be canceled for the safety of our students and teachers.  In such an event, LOLA will make all attempts to contact students and reschedule classes/events for a later date.
