LOLA Sound Garden 2023 Workshops

Join us for any or all of the FREE LOLA Sound Garden 2023 workshops!

These Community Arts Events are designed to bring appreciation to both the arts and nature, with the works made in them displayed in the LOLA Sound Garden Exhibit later in the week. Led by an artist in the field, these workshops will explore a variety of the arts; poetry, painting, photography, and music. They will all start in the Sound Garden space (off Chippewa Drive by the pavilion located near Storybook Gardens) with a DNR Naturalist, who will give the group some historical and ecological facts about the surrounding woods. Then, the artists will lead a workshop, exploring their art medium and the space together. All artwork (except for the benches) will be returned after the Sound Garden Exhibit later in the week. All of the workshops are free and supplies provided, but please register so we have an accurate count. **please note, the painting classes do have a class limit)
