Ireland and Scotland have long traditions in fiber making.  From raising sheep to spinning, dyeing, weaving, and knitting, the isles have a wealth of fiber related arts.  Local fiber artist Mary Burns of Manitowish, WI has been to Ireland & Scotland numerous times.  This presentation will highlight Mary’s visits with Celtic fiber artists and their work.  The Love of Wool will be presented in a PowerPoint format, along with hands-on samples for you to see and feel.

LOLA will make every effort to keep students and teachers safe with social distancing and sanitizing procedures.  LOLA strongly recommends and encourages visitors to wear their own protective face mask and/or gloves.
