• all 7 sessions for $50  
• $10 per session/$15 per session for 2 family members

Fairies, Animals, Superheroes, Pirates Oh MY!   

Be prepared for fun and laughter in Theater Intern Mary Sportiello’s drama games classes. There will be a new theme each week in this class.  Take one session or several! No experience is required. 

 

June 28th,  11 – 12pm       

Fairy Tale Week   

Once upon a time in Land O Lakes, Wisconsin, there was a drama class and this drama class will bring bravery to the students. This week will be fairy tale related theater games and we will all live happily ever after.

 

July 5th,  11-12pm   

Animal Week            

ROAR! MOO! Would you like to be an animal for the week? Together we will learn different kinds of movement, using your voice differently. Come on hurry, we don’t want to be caught by the zookeeper.

 

July 12th,  11-12pm   

Improv Week           

Just say yes to this class and you have already completed the first step in improv. This week students will play some improv games.

 

July 19th,  11 -12pm    

Superhero Week    

It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s a drama student. This week students will learn some superhero related drama games.

 

July 26th, 11 – 12pm    

Pirate Week   

Arg! Board the ship to pirate themed drama games.

 

Aug 2nd, 11 -12pm   

Weather and Seasons   

It’s raining. It’s falling. It’s time to go to weather and seasons drama themed 

 

Aug 9th, 11 -12pm   

Puppet Week   

You will have no strings on you for being willing to learn new things at puppetry week. Students will make a puppet, perform a puppet show, and even play a game pretending that your friend is a puppet.

 

Mary Sportiello is about to start her last semester at UW- Whitewater where she is pursuing a BFA in Design and Technology with an Emphasis in Technical Direction. She has been working with theatre students since high school.  Mary believes theatre, through the art of story telling, teaches lessons on how to become better people;starting young is important. Join us as we discover the world’s stories together!

• LOLA Arts has lifted its mask requirement for in-person events and classes effective May 23rd, 2022.  LOLA visitors and students who want to wear a mask are more than welcome to do so. Moving forward, any mask or COVID-19 precaution policies or changes to current policies will align with the CDC recommendations based on COVID-19 community levels.
• Refund Policy – No refunds will be given after the registration deadline. Classes will only be cancelled due to weather if Northland Pines School district cancels.
