You can check out a ukulele to use the rest of December after the class ends, to play at your holiday gatherings!
Thanks to an anonymous donor, LOLA has a ukulele and instruction book that you can borrow during this session before making an investment on your own. No music experience is necessary.
Supplies needed: a three-ring binder, and 15 minutes a day of practice time

In addition to being the Executive Director of LOLA Arts, she is active as a violin/violist/fiddle player and conductor in the Northwoods area. She took guitar lessons a few years ago after taking two summer Teaching Guitar Workshops and is using knowledge from this experience to provide opportunities for LOLA students to learn the basics of playing the ukulele.
