PAINTING SEASON IS OPEN. 

Paint your own version of a Wisconsin fish in this fun beginner acrylic painting class. The wood plaque will be prepared and ready for you to paint with a wood burned fish outline.  The plaque measures approximately 24” L x 5-½“ H x ½” W.  The artist, Sue Brucks-Schurch, will help guide you on how to mix colors.

About the Artist – Sue Brucks-Schurch owns Blossoms Studio in Land O’ Lakes, which she opened in 2001. Working in acrylic paint, she paints and wood burns on found objects and new wood. Sue loves to find old barn wood and antique furniture as surfaces for her work. She is on the Northwoods Art Tour, sells her work at Moondeer & Friends in Boulder Junction and Cluck the Chicken Store in Paoli, WI. Sue graduated from UW-Madison with a major in art.
