Acrylic Canoe or Loon on Wooden Plaque

Join artist Sue Schurch as she guides you using acrylic to paint a graphic canoe or loon on a solid wooden plaque. The 14” x 24”  inch canoe plaque or 7” x 20” loon will already be prepared with a wood-burned outline, and you’ll be able to choose your color scheme and make it your own. All materials will be supplied.

Bring a lunch and wear clothes to paint in!

Sue Schurch owns Blossoms Studio in Land O Lakes, WI. Working in acrylic paint,

she paints and wood burns on found objects and new wood and canvases with a

North Woods theme. Sue loves to find old barn wood and antique furniture as

surfaces for her work. Besides her studio she sells her work at Moondeer Gallery

and Friends in Boulder Junction and Stones Throw in Bayfield, Wisconsin. She

• LOLA Arts has lifted its mask requirement for in-person events and classes effective May 23rd, 2022.  LOLA visitors and students who want to wear a mask are more than welcome to do so. Moving forward, any mask or COVID-19 precaution policies or changes to current policies will align with the CDC recommendations based on COVID-19 community levels.
• Refund Policy – No refunds will be given after the registration deadline. Classes will only be cancelled due to weather if Northland Pines School district cancels.
