During this relaxing day, you will have the opportunity to create your own one-of-a-kind painting on a piece of wood on which Sue has wood-burned the outline of festive pumpkins. You will choose your own color palette and enjoy painting in an encouraging environment.

Plein Air Linear Perspective in Watercolor

Join award-winning watercolor artist Dale Popovich for an enriching exploration into the essence of straightforward perspective en plein air (outdoor) painting. This engaging one-day workshop promises to illuminate the fundamental principles of linear perspective, a cornerstone for artists aspiring to imbue their works with depth, realism, and narrative.

Pastel Class
Learn the simple process used in creating this beautiful sky over water. The substrate you will be using is a piece of 9” x 12” UART premium sanded pastel paper. You will use primarily NuPastels, but will have the chance to try Rembrandt, and Sennelier brand pastels also. Lisa will take you through the steps from photo to painting in a fun and relaxed environment. No drawing skills needed. Registration price includes all supplies used during class. There will be a short lunch break, bring a lunch. This class will be a fun day!

Stained Glass Flower or Butterfly

Learn the copper foil method of stained glass while creating a lovely stained glass flower or butterfly! In this small class, teaching artist Patty will provide individualized instruction on cutting glass, grinding, and piecing together with solder. Students should bring lunch or something to eat during the break.

Introduction to Spoon Carving

Join us for a 3-hour introduction to the craft of greenwood spoon carving. You will finish the class with your own hand-carved serving spoon. For the first part of the class, we will study safety, knife grips, and traditional techniques for carving. For the rest of the course, you will apply what you have learned to transform the spoon blank provided into your completed spoon.
