Summer is the perfect time to learn how to smoke your food using your grill and/or a smoker!  Local resident Chef 

Smoking FoodScott McFarland will discuss methods, tools, techniques, and woods to becoming an expert smoker.  He will provide recipes and tasting samples of the meats, cheeses, and other food that he recommends smoking.  Make sure you come hungry! 

 

This is a perfect class to up your outdoor cooking game! 

 

Artist Bio: 

Chef Scott started cooking at the age of 16 simply as a means to make money. By the time he was 22 he was an Executive Chef for a high-end country club. After spending 12 years as an Executive Chef in private clubs in the Milwaukee/Chicago area, he became the Executive Chef at the Heidel House in Green Lake, WI. Over the years he competed in several culinary competitions through the American Culinary Federation bringing back bronze, silver, and gold medals. In his spare time, he also was a Personal Chef for Wisconsin & Southern Railroad. Most recently, he was the chef and director of Dining Services at the Conserve School.
