Chickadee Oil Painting

Thursday May 9, 2024

10am-3pm

$65

Follow along with artist Maureen Luzenski learning oil painting basics and paint a chickadee bird on a twig. Get walked through step-by-step using water based oil paints on masonite board, learning how to mix, apply, and blend in the interesting medium of oil paint.

The water based oils are a great paint to use in a classroom setting, as they don’t have the chemical smell, however, they do stain clothes, so please wear an apron or painting shirt. Also plan on taking a break for lunch, so bring your own from home or visit one of the restaurants in Lando.

  • If you would like to pay with cash or check, please call LOLA Arts at (715) 547-3950 to reserve your spot in class. Your spot is not guaranteed until we receive payment.
  • If a class is canceled a full refund will be issued.
  • Refunds will not be issued after the registration date closes.
  • Beginning January 1, 2024, students who request a refund prior to the registration deadline will be given the option of receiving the full amount in the form of a gift certificate for future classes OR a refund for the balance minus a $5.00 service fee.

Please fill out this release form online instead of day of, as try and cut back on physical paper usage.
