Youth Art Month 2025

Celebrate Youth Visual Art Education!
THANK YOU to all who celebrated the talented young local artists highlighted in LOLA's Youth Art Month Exhibit 2025 - as well as those who joined us at our Youth Art Month Exhibit Reception and during our Drop-In Paint & Eat Cookies session with Dr. Donna!
Thank you to all the artists who contributed their wonderful work and to their families and friends for their support. A very special thank you to the following people who made this amazing art opportunity possible:
-Dr. Donna Murray-Tiedge, curator & cookie artist extraordinaire
-Cathy Palmer, LOLA Homeschool Arts teacher
-Joe Hovel, LOLA Homeschool Arts teacher and mentor
-Emily Gritt, Watersmeet K-12 art teacher
-Megan Running, Land O' Lakes Elementary & SOAR Charter School art teacher
-Ivy Lapp, for assisting Dr. Donna with the Drop-In Paint & Eat Cookies session
-LOLA's fantastic and dedicated volunteers, especially those who helped frame all the artwork
The Youth Art Month Exhibit at LOLA was funded in part by the Council for Art Education, the Wisconsin Arts Board, the Green Bay Packers Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and LOLA's generous donors.

Each year, we are inspired by the creativity of our local youth artists! This exhibit showcases artwork from students ranging from kindergarten to senior-level art, offering a vibrant display of imagination and color. To honor their talent, LOLA provides frames for the artwork, which are then gifted back to the students. Seeing their work professionally framed and displayed in a gallery fills them with pride, and that sense of accomplishment continues as they bring their framed pieces home to hang on their own walls. Visual art education plays a vital role in a child’s personal development, and Youth Art Month is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their achievements.
