No acting experience required! Enjoy the fun of theatre without having to memorize lines.
Readers Theatre requires no sets, costumes, props, or memorized lines. Readers Theatre is a chance for you to share your voice, connect with other theatre lovers, have some fun, or maybe try something new.
Read your original Up North experience: dramatic, comedic, nostalgic, poetic, or other! (Please remember this event will be open to families and all ages.) Keep the time to a maximum of 2-3 minutes. Or, bring your favorite Up North story written by another author to share with our audience. If you want to participate, but don’t know what to read, L.R.T. Director Cindy Pesek will have pieces available for Readers.
This is a free event open to all. Parking is available behind the LOLA Center for the Arts Building.
If area school districts close due to weather on the day of a LOLA event, LOLA events will be canceled for the safety of our patrons. In such an event, LOLA will make all attempts to contact registered participants and rescheduled event for a later date.
