Join artist Dan Wieske for a day-long workshop making a beautiful, functional handmade brush. Students will have a number of brush blanks to choose from. Brush blanks will be pre-roughed out into general shapes with holes predrilled to accept Tampico fiber bundles all done by Dan prior to class. Students will do additional shaping, finishing, and sealer application to their brush blank. Students will also make the Tampico fiber bundles and epoxy the bundles into the brush body. This is a class for beginner through advanced students. Students will leave with one to three brushes depending upon student skill and the intricacies of the brush shape. No dust pans will be made in this class.
