LOLA Arts presents: G & L Music

Free Live Music! Classical Rock, Smooth Jazz and Blues

At Snowflake Building 6492 Town Hall Road, Land O’ Lakes, WI (behind Town Hall)

Consists of local musicians, Gerry and Laura Plank (husband-wife music teachers)

Repertoire:  Classic Rock, Smooth Jazz and a splash of the Blues

Gerry:  soprano, alto and tenor saxophone, flute, keyboard and vocals

Laura: flute, keyboard, bass and vocals

Gerry has recorded with 7 independent record labels.  His credentials include performing with the Oshkosh Symphony, Miss Wisconsin Pageant Band, Al Johnson of the Count Basie band, on the Miller stage at Summerfest in Milwaukee with Joe Bucher and The Top Raiders,  and performing on stage with Country’s very own Kenny Rogers.  He is a veteran performer of many genres including jazz, big band, funk, rock, polka, old time and sacred music.  Gerry is a founding member of “G and L” music and “Flying Blind”.  He continues to write, arrange and perform with many local groups.  Gerry (Mr. Plank) is the retired director of bands at Northland Pines High School in Eagle River.  Laura is also a veteran performer of many genres including jazz, big band, funk, rock, polka, old time and sacred music.  Laura (Mrs. Plank) is a veteran music educator with the Northland Pines School District.

Bring your own lawn chair.  THE RBA Food Truck and Northwoods Confectionary Creations will be at the LOLA Arts Car Park Summer Music Series this year!
