Acoustic Guitar Group Lessons

Join local musician and educator Bret Miller for a relaxed and engaging group acoustic guitar class! Designed for beginners, this course focuses on learning folk songs while building a strong foundation in guitar basics. No musical experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a 6-string acoustic guitar (a limited number will be available to borrow). Please let us know when you sign up, if you need to borrow a guitar for the duration of the class. 

This lunchtime class meets from 12–1 PM on the second and fourth Tuesdays in June, July, and August:
June 10 & 24 • July 8 & 22 • August 12 & 26

Taught in a supportive circle setting with a maximum of 10 students.

• If you would like to pay with cash or check, please call LOLA Arts at (715) 547-3950 to reserve your spot in class. Your spot is not guaranteed until we receive payment.
• If a class is canceled a full refund will be issued. 
• Refunds will not be issued after the registration date closes.
• Students who request a refund prior to the registration deadline will be given the option of receiving the full amount in the form of a gift certificate for future classes OR a refund for the balance minus a $5.00 service fee.

Artist bio:
Bret grew up in Iowa, and began singing in his mother’s hometown country church from a young age. His tastes turned to rock & roll as he became the front man for several successful bands throughout and after his college years, most notably The Pedestrians. As he grew more and more accomplished on the acoustic guitar, his tastes turned a little more toward the folk genre, and he began singing as a solo musician at several ski resorts in the Rocky Mountains. His major influences include Neil Young, Bob Dylan, John Prine, Kris Kristofferson and John Denver.
