Great workshop for beginners and intermediate photographers.  

Join Libby in a ½ day workshop where you will discover how to create and compose compelling photographs.  Learn how your camera works and techniques you can use to take great pictures that really tell a story.  Learn the secrets of perspective as well as how to edit, print, and share your images on social media.  Join your classmates on a photoshoot (a short walk outside the LOLA Building) Photo 101 Classwhere you can utilize the skills you just learned and top it off by sharing those pictures with your class. 

 

All cameras and cell phones that take pictures are welcome! 

 

Teacher Bio: 

Libby Scott is an award-winning Northwood Photographer.  She specializes in taking Northwood’s landscape pictures as well as images that capture “an era gone by.”  Currently, she is focusing her attention on her photo gilding project where she hand-paints precious metals on her photographic images.  Libby shows her work in several galleries through the Northwoods and lives with her husband, Doug, in the Star Lake area.

  • Refund Policy – No refunds will be given after the registration deadline. Classes will only be cancelled due to weather if Northland Pines School district cancels. 
  • LOLA Arts has lifted its mask requirement for in-person events and classes effective May 23rd, 2022.  LOLA visitors and students who want to wear a mask are more than welcome to do so. Moving forward, any mask or COVID-19 precaution policies or changes to current policies will align with the CDC recommendations based on COVID-19 community levels.
