Making Glass Beads

Learn the ancient art of glass bead making in the flame of a torch. This is a beginner to advanced-skill bead-making class.  I’ll lead the class step by step through each bead technique.  We’ll be using Italian glass and you can choose your own colors. Participants in the class will make 8 to 12 beads.

Using Glass Beads

Make one-of-a-kind art jewelry with your beads made in class from the previous day. Additional fee for the supplies used can be made to Julie. She will have all the supplies and tools needed for making jewelry and gift items. This is for anyone who wishes to purchase my glass beads or has made their own beads in my classes over the years.

Instructors Bio Julie Lukosaitis, is owner of Bedazzled by Julz, LLC.  Bedazzzled by Julz is a mobile torch studio that travels to other art studios in Wisconsin.  “Glass in the flame, transitioning from a solid to a liquid, working against gravity, while reading the heat in the glass can be challenging, but is extremely fun!”  Julie Lukosaitis.

• Refund Policy – No refunds will be given after the registration deadline. Classes will only be cancelled due to weather if Northland Pines School district cancels. 

• LOLA Arts has lifted its mask requirement for in-person events and classes effective May 23rd, 2022.  LOLA visitors and students who want to wear a mask are more than welcome to do so. Moving forward, any mask or COVID-19 precaution policies or changes to current policies will align with the CDC recommendations based on COVID-19 community levels.
