Exploring the Color Green

How many greens do you see around you in spring and summer? Painting them often is difficult for many artists. Join watercolor artist Dale Popovich as he demystifies the color green in this workshop. All levels of experience are welcome. Students will learn how to mix various greens, create a green chart on their own, and paint two watercolor landscapes which are prominently green.

Artist Bio: Dale is an award-winning watercolorist and teacher who is passionate about capturing the raw beauty of the American landscape with the fluid stroke of a brush. Dale was 80% blind 45 years ago, but after a cyst removed from his brain, and his vision fully restored (and having to learn to walk and write again) he discovered he could see more clearly, with his paintings reflecting a purity of perception.
