Youth Art Month (YAM)

March 2026

Youth Art Month (YAM) celebrates visual art education for grades K-12. The Council for Art Education (CFAE) administers the program nationally. The program provides a medium for recognizing the lessons that visual arts teach, including but not limited to problem-solving, creativity, observation, and communication.

Youth Art Month Showcase
Youth Art Gallery

This exhibition will showcase the work of Land O' Lakes Elementary, SOAR Middle School, Watersmeet K12, and LOLA homeschooled students. LOLA will put on an event where students, parents, and supporters can all come view the art on display at the gallery in the LOLA building.

The community will be invited to engage with these artworks as we reflect upon the visual arts' vital role in K-12 education.
