Elementary Arts & Music Enrichment
September 1st | 9:30 AM – 12:15 PM
Music from 9:30–11:00 AM: Students will learn about beat, rhythm, melody, tempo, and dynamics while building confidence in making music together. Throughout the eight-week session, the class will collaborate to write, perform, and record an original song, experimenting with a classic 8-track recorder and simple digital music-making on an iPad or laptop.
Visual Art from 11:15 AM–12:15 PM: Let your child's creativity shine! In this fun, hands-on art class, students will create engaging art and craft projects inspired by animals, nature, imagination, and world cultures, developing fine motor skills while drawing, gluing, cutting, and experimenting with colors and materials.
Materials: Wear clothing to create in. Feel free to bring a laptop or musical instrument (not required). LOLA provides keyboards, ukuleles, drums, percussion, and other instruments for students to use throughout the course.

Visual Art from 9:30–11:00 AM: Designed for homeschool students, this engaging art class introduces the elements and principles of art through a variety of 2D projects and mediums, building foundational skills in drawing, painting, and mixed media in a supportive, studio-style environment.
