Painting clouds in watercolor are easy and fun to paint! Remember, they are many times a vital part of a landscape painting. Understanding how a cloud can cast shadows on itself and the landscape. Learning that all edges of the clouds are soft and will reflect colors across the landscape.

Dale will share his various methods of painting clouds. He will discuss how the sky, clouds, season, and the atmosphere can often create various shapes and colors. This allows much freedom to make different cloud shapes with our brush and other techniques.

You will be learning how to paint clouds using some classic techniques and unique tools is what we will be doing in this watercolor workshop. Come join me and learn how to paint a cloudscape in watercolor!

• Refund Policy – No refunds will be given after the registration deadline. Classes will only be canceled due to weather if Northland Pines School district cancels. 

Artist Bio: Dale is an award-winning watercolorist and teacher who is passionate about capturing the raw beauty of the American landscape with the fluid stroke of a brush. Dale was 80% blind 45 years ago, but after a cyst removed from his brain, and his vision fully restored (and having to learn to walk and write again) he discovered he could see more clearly, with his paintings reflecting a purity of perception.
