In this cooking demonstration by Environmental Educator, Eleva Potter, you will explore how to prepare and make eating venison a delicious experience for all palates. Eleva will cover marinades, steaks, roasts and burgers. Class participants will get an opportunity to sample a venison steak tostada, venison jerk burger and a classic venison roast.
Environmental Educator Bio –
Eleva Potter is an environmental educator from northern Minnesota who has a passion for local delicious food. When not working at the library in Houghton, Michigan, she can be found hiking with her dogs, visiting the farmer’s market and trying to find wild apple trees in the Upper Michigan.
LOLA will make every effort to keep students and teachers safe. Social distancing, hand washing & sanitizing procedures must be followed. LOLA REQUIRES visitors to wear a protective face mask.
