The Saucy Rovers have been smuggling sea shanties and Irish tavern music up and down Lake Superior’s southern shore for more than five years now. This unique folk outfit consists of lead vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Leo Siren and percussionist Dave Koistinen, plus a rotating band of rovers and rogues armed with all manner of old school acoustic instruments. Arrangements and instrumentation are done in an upbeat, grip-it-and-rip-it style that applies punk rock energy and pop catchiness to songs written centuries ago! If you like foot-stomping, mug-raising anthems hollered in a tasteful fake accent, The Saucy Rovers are here to serve at your pleasure.
