Learn the basics of botanical arrangement and create your own unique holiday centerpiece!

Using a combination of fresh greenery and artificial accents, Guest Artist Kim Wallner will guide students in creating their own unique rustic holiday centerpiece. Students will learn basic principles of creating botanical arrangements and tips on how to use fresh and artificial materials.
Materials Needed: Students should bring their own container in which to create the arrangement. Containers should not exceed 8 inches tall/deep and 12 inches wide/long. Container should be able to hold water/wet floral foam or hold a plastic insert with water/wet floral foam. (Plastic insert not included in provided supplies.) Other containers will also be available for use. Students should bring a handheld bypass pruning shears and small wire cutter. All other materials will be provided. Students should also bring a bag lunch.
No refunds will be given for any classes after the deadline date. Parking is available behind the LOLA Center for the Arts building. LOLA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
About the Instructor – Kim Wallner is a lifelong artist and decorator. She was an active member of the Northshore Garden Club in Shorewood, WI for 10 years and the chief decorator for the Rahr West Art Museum Christmas in the Mansion holiday display in Manitowoc, WI for 5 years. She has decorated for many weddings and parties, for public events, and in private homes. Kim has been a seasonal resident of the Northwoods for over 30 years.
