Meet fiber artist Ann Wichmann of Eagle River and turn your completed hooked piece into a small purse. This will be a fun way to put finished pieces to practical use. You will make a lining, hand sew in a zipper, and add a decorative button if desired.
Zippers, lining, buttons and thread will be provided. You may bring your own lining material and embellishments if you wish.
Ann is an accomplished artist in all things fiber, including: sewing, rug hooking, knitting, needle punch and has been rug twining for the last eight years. Examples of Ann’s work can be seen at Artistree Gallery in Land O’ Lakes.
Supplies to Bring – A bag lunch and a finished rug hooking piece. Approximate size: between 11-12″ by 8-9″. If you have a finished piece you are not sure will work, contact Ann at email@example.com.
All classes must be pre-paid prior to deadline. No refunds will be given for cancellations after deadline.
