Workshop Highlights:
- Two Painting Sessions: Create two small scenes (7″ by 11″), one in the morning and another in the afternoon.
- Lecture and Demonstration: Gain insights into two-point perspective with a comprehensive lecture, handouts, view finders, and demonstration.
- Drawing Techniques: Learn effective methods for placing your drawing on paper.
- Watercolor Demonstration: Be inspired and guided by a watercolor demonstration.
What to Bring:
- Chair
- Watercolors: Sap green, Ultramarine blue, Cobalt blue, Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna, Brown Madder, Cadmium Yellow Medium – (tube paints only) Recommended brands: QoR, Holbein, Winsor & Newton Professional (NOT Cotman), Blick Artists’ Watercolors, or Royal Talens: Van Gogh, or Rembrandt
- Brushes
- 300 lb Watercolor Paper – Indigo Handmade Artpapers 640gsm/300 lb or Fabriano 300# watercolor paper – both cold press – cut into two 7″ by 11” pieces
- 2B Pencil
- Kneaded Eraser
- A drawing board
- Neutral-color masking tape (no blue tape)

Payment:
- If you would like to pay with cash or check, please call LOLA Arts at (715) 547-3950 to reserve your spot in class. Your spot is not guaranteed until we receive payment.
- If a class is canceled a full refund will be issued.
- Refunds will not be issued after the registration date closes.
- Beginning January 1, 2024, students who request a refund prior to the registration deadline will be given the option of receiving the full amount in the form of a gift certificate for future classes OR a refund for the balance minus a $5.00 service fee.

Artist Bio: Dale is an award-winning watercolorist and teacher who is passionate about capturing the raw beauty of the American landscape with the fluid stroke of a brush. Dale was 80% blind 45 years ago, but after a cyst removed from his brain, and his vision fully restored (and having to learn to walk and write again) he discovered he could see more clearly, with his paintings reflecting a purity of perception.
