Like to play with color and experiment?  Do you like to work on paper?  Do you like to work with fabric?  If so, then this class is for you!

Explore the vibrant and super saturated color of Derwent Inktense ® Pencils.  Students will create designs on paper and fabric.  Pencils will be used both wet and dry, and they are permanent after drying.  Learn to blend, keep colors contained, use an outliner, and add details.  These rich colors can enhance commercial fabrics, add shadows and shading to quilts, or bring any artwork to life!

Artist Bio   Toni considers herself a storyteller.  Her love of traveling and photography provides a constant source of inspiration for realistic and abstract fabric wall art that reflects an appreciation of our natural world and provides joy.  The common threads in her art pieces are an attention to detail, rich colors and visual depth.

A self-taught, award-winning quilter who studies annually with nationally known fiber artists, Toni also teaches a variety of workshops and exhibits regularly.  She is a member of Women Who Run With Scissors, Studio Art Quilters Association (SAQA), and Fiber Artisans.  Her work can be found at Artistree Gallery in Land O’Lakes, Wisconsin and Z Place Gallery, in Ironwood, Michigan, as well as in various publications and private collections.

LOLA will make every effort to keep students and teachers safe with social distancing and sanitizing procedures. Class date and time subject to change.

No refunds will be given after the deadline date.
