UW-Whitewater Professor Barbara Grubel invites you to a short lecture on Dance Appreciation and the importance of dance, historically and currently, in our society.  The lecture will introduce this wide spectrum of subject matter through lecture, video, and discussion.

Ms. Grubel grew up in Land O’ Lakes and learned to dance under the instruction of Dolores Lapp at her dance studio.  Barbara has since gone on to dance with a company in New York, and traveled the world dancing.   She is currently a Professor of Dance & Theatre at UW-Whitewater and assists LOLA in finding teaching inters for our summer dance program.

Lynn Richie, LOLA Board President and Chef Extraordinaire, will be serving lunch.  You won’t want to miss this special event!
