Home School Class – Recycled Art Challenge @ LOL Library

Home School Class – Recycled Art Challenge

Celebrating Youth Art Month! Held at the LOL Library.

Friday, March 27, 2020     12:45 – 1:45 pm

CANCELED

We are recycling again, and using that old adage – “one mans trash is another’s treasure” or in this case – art supplies!

LOLA Resident Artist Wendy Powalisz and Eagle River Artist Debbie Jircik will lead a discussion and art project inspired by artist Mary Nohl. Nohl was an artist from Milwaukee, well-known for her house filled with folk art from floor to ceiling. Students will use recycled materials to create sculptural pieces inspired by Nohl.
Students from the LOL Elementary School, SOAR Middle School, and area Home-Schooled Children are all invited to participate in working with materials that would normally be thrown away or recycled.

FREE Class! Please RSVP

Home School Students Ages 5 – 16

All materials supplied.

Deadline to RSVP: March 26

If area school districts close due to weather on the day of a LOLA class, LOLA classes will be canceled for the safety of our students and teachers.  In such an event, LOLA will make all attempts to contact students and rescheduled classes for a later date.
