- Dream Catchers

This class is appropriate for 14+.
Students will make an 8 inch dream catcher using a brass hoop and leather lace. Students will use sinew to weave the catcher. A variety of semi-precious stone beads will be provided to weave into the dream catcher.

About the Artist
Nikki Morrison started weaving baskets and dream catchers in 1998 while living in Appleton. One year later she moved to Land O’ Lakes and began doing craft shows in the area. She taught her first basket weaving class in Oshkosh in 2002 at the Annual Spin-In Weavers Conference. The following year, she began teaching classes regularly at Inspirations Craft & Hobby Store, then at the Kalmar Center in Eagle River through 2008. She has taken a 10 year reprieve from teaching to attend college and have her three children, now ages 10, 7, and 3. She completed her Associates of Science through Nicolet Area Tech College in December 2016, and is getting close to completing her Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Management through UW-Stout.
