LEARN HOW TO PREPARE & MAKE DANDELIONS DELICIOUS.

Celebrate the Dandelion. You can’t beat them, so you may as well eat them. Roots, leaves, buds and flowers of dandelions are nutritious and delicious. Join Jean Haack, class instructor, to learn more about the dandelion and how to prepare dandelions into edible treats. Samples of dandelion edibles will be available for tasting.

Instructor Bio:  Jean Haack, a Land O’ Lakes resident, worked as an assistant naturalist at Ledge View Nature Center in Chilton, WI. Jean offered a workshop that included many wild edible dishes for the participants at nature center to learn about and try.  Dandelion “coffee” was on the menu each year.
