Beginning Adult Ukulele 

Instructor: Jennifer Anderson 

Date: Wednesdays September 21th – October 26th

Time: 2:30pm – 3:30pm 

Place: LOLA Arts Downstairs Classroom 

Supplies needed: a three ring binder, and 15 minutes a day of practice time

Cost: $60 includes use of a LOLA Ukulele and an instruction book during the 6 week session



Anyone can learn how to play the ukulele!  In this entry-level class for adults, you will learn how to tune the ukulele, do basic strum patterns and finger basic chords, and practice effectively.  Thanks to an anonymous donor, LOLA has a ukulele and instruction book that you can borrow during this session before making an investment on your own.  No music experience is necessary! 

 

Instructor Bio: 

 

Jennifer Anderson, holds an orchestra teaching license in WI, MN and MA.   In addition to being the Excutive Director of LOLA Arts, she is active as a violin/violist/fiddle player and conductor in the Northwoods area. She took guitar lessons a few years ago after taking two summer Teaching Guitar Workshops, and is using knowledge from this experience to provide opportunities for LOLA students to learn the basics of playing the ukulele.
