Bring any watercolor supplies you may have, otherwise materials will be provided. Students will create a painting with knowledge learned from the Intro to Watercolors class.
LOLA’s resident artist, Wendy Powalisz will bring back these popular classes. Join her for a foray into the magic of working with watercolors. Learn all the very basics of transparent watercolor painting. From the foundational washes to fun techniques that use a variety of tools, students will gain confidence and learn to appreciate this expressive medium.
These are beginning courses and a true introduction to the medium. Students will learn about the materials needed, wet & wet techniques, dry brushing, hard & soft edges, brush strokes and some surprising techniques using household items.
Deadline for payment/registration: Feb. 15
No refunds will be given after the registration deadline.
Parking is available behind the LOLA Center for the Arts.
If area school districts close due to weather on the day of a LOLA class, LOLA classes will be canceled for the safety of our students and teachers. In such an event, LOLA will make all attempts to contact students and rescheduled classes for a later date.
