PAINT TWO WOODBURNED PLAQUES

 DISPLAY BOTH OR GIVE AS A GIFT 

Enjoy this beginner acrylic painting class. Paint your own version of these 2 pumpkins. The larger pumpkin plaque is 9 × 9″ and the smaller plaque is 5 × 5″. Sue Brucks-Schurch will help you mix colors.  Each student will receive 2 woodburned plaques, ready to paint. No experience is necessary.

About Artist –

Sue Brucks-Schurch owns Blossoms Studio in Land O’ Lakes, which she opened in 2001. Working in acrylic paint, she paints and wood burns on found objects and new wood. Sue loves to find old barn wood and antique furniture as surfaces for her work. She is on the Northwoods Art Tour, sells her work at Moondeer & Friends in Boulder Junction and Cluck the Chicken Store in Paoli, WI. Sue graduated from UW-Madison with a major in art. According to Sue, “I have been painting since I was a child, and continually brought old “stuff” home. My work is fun and functional.”

Students Suggestions – 
Wear smock, apron or other appropriate clothing
Pack a bag lunch

LOLA will make every effort to keep students and teachers safe with social distancing and sanitizing procedures.  LOLA REQUIRES visitors to wear their own protective face mask. 

No refunds will be given after the deadline date.    Parking is available behind the LOLA Center for the Arts building.
