Discover the joy of painting in our upcoming acrylic painting class, where you’ll create a beautiful owl painting on a 12″ x 16″ canvas board, under the expert guidance of teaching artist Maureen Luzenski. Whether you’re new to painting or looking to refine your skills, Maureen’s step-by-step instructions will help you bring your owl to life on canvas. All supplies are included, so all you need to bring is your creativity!

We will have a little lunch break. Students may want to bring a snack or lunch. We do have a refrigerator if needed.

Artist Bio:  

Maureen Luzenski’s journey as an oil painter spans numerous years. Upon retiring, she transitioned into sharing her expertise as an instructor at Nicolet College, leading special interest classes in oil painting across Rhinelander and Tomahawk for over a decade. In addition to her college instruction, Maureen now offers her own classes in Tomahawk.

Actively engaged in her local art community, Maureen is a valued member of the Lakeland Art League, where she served as Vice President and contributed to the board of directors for an extensive period. Her dedication to her craft has earned her recognition in the Wisconsin WRAP program, garnering three state awards from the Agriculture Department at UW Madison.

• If a class is canceled a full refund will be issued. 
• Refunds will not be issued after the registration date closes.
• Beginning January 1, 2024, students who request a refund prior to the registration deadline will be given the option of receiving the full amount in the form of a gift certificate for future classes OR a refund for the balance minus a $5.00 service fee.
