Journey into the world of watercolor

Join Lisa Krueger as she shares what she knows about this mysterious medium. The two days will be filled with information but also plenty of painting time. Paper, pigment, brushes, controlling the water, retaining the white of the paper, how to get whites back once they are lost, allowing the paint to mix on the paper, applying salt, bruising the paper, spattering, how to avoid muddy color, design elements, laying down a simple wash, and more will be covered. Our painting subjects include mistletoe and winter berries. We will be working on 10″ by 11″ pieces of Arches 140# cold press paper and using professional grade paint.
