“A community united by the ideals of compassion and creativity has incredible power. Art of all kinds - music, literature, traditional arts, visual arts - can lift a community.” Martin O’ Malley
As we reflect on LOLA Arts’ 2022 programming, we are grateful for the support that has allowed us to offer a wide variety of quality, affordable art experiences for all ages. Many of these experiences are free events that can only be programmed with the assistance of volunteers, donations, grants, and business sponsorships. Plans are already underway to again offer two popular art experiences in the summer of 2023; the LOLA Sound Garden, and the Summer Car Park Music Series.
If you are interested in providing volunteer and/or monetary support for one, both, or other LOLA programs, please look below to see how to do so.
- LOLA Sound Garden (an interactive, outdoor 3-day art exhibit featuring site-specific photography, poetry, painting, and music created through free workshops with artist-in-residence, James Everest) Program Cost: $4500
- Summer Car Park Music Series (10 free 90-minute weekly concerts at the Snowflake Building featuring local and regional performers. ) Program Cost: $8500
