Alcohol inks are so fun to paint with! Not only are the colors exquisite, bold, bright and beautiful, but they seem to take on a life of their own in your painting. As you use the inks, the art almost forms itself! You may have many delightful surprises ahead of you, as you learn to use this interesting medium. Jan will work with several surfaces so that students can experience what the inks can do and how different surfaces can cause different reactions with the inks. More delightful surprises!
Artist Jan Killian will visit LOLA from Cumberland, WI. She is experienced in using inks and in most of her current work, she is using the inks exclusively. An avid animal lover, creatures of many kinds, big and small show up in her work. Jan is owner of WoolyFrog Arts & Photography studio and does numerous art shows throughout the year. She is represented by galleries in northwestern Wisconsin.
