LOLA Arts has lifted its mask requirement for in-person events and classes effective May 23rd, 2022. LOLA visitors and students who want to wear a mask are more than welcome to do so. Moving forward, any mask or COVID-19 precaution policies or changes to current policies will align with the CDC recommendations based on COVID-19 community levels.
Make Music Day is back! A day of celebration through music, communities across the world celebrate on June 21st with opportunists to play, listen, and make music. LOLA Arts will be holding a full schedule from 10am, with 16 year old singer from MN, all the way to 6pm, with The Woodland Strings kicking off the Summer 2022 Car Park Music Series with a whole lotta good stuff in between. March and sing with us through downtown Land O Lakes at the Make Music Day parade (and keep a small percussion instrument!) or make time to walk through the LOLA Sound Garden, which will be the last day to experience this site specific sound installation.
LOLA Arts Awarded WARP Grant!
The Wisconsin Arts Board has awarded LOLA Arts a $3,000 Wisconsin Arts Rescue Program (WARP) grant, recognizing the extreme difficulties that arts organizations are facing due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This WARP award is made possible through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and granted through the Wisconsin Arts Board.
LOLA Arts is sincerely grateful for this grant, as we strive to provide the communities of Northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with affordable arts classes, workshops, and cultural events, providing enrichment and adding to the overall vitality to the community we love so much. Grants like these make it possible to continue our mission. Thank you Wisconsin Arts Board.
